Curious about birds and the incredible species we have here in the Pacific Northwest? Join professional naturalist and experienced birder Kate Brown for a relaxed Saturday bird walk along the boardwalk at Boulevard Park. We will chat about what to look and listen for while birding, discuss some of the common species we are likely to spot in this park and what makes them unique- then meander the trails while birding and chatting. Bring any binoculars you might have (I own a few to share!). This park is frequented by Black Oystercatchers, Double Crested and Pelagic Cormorants, Great Blue Herons and Osprey.
Accessibility Note: When you drive into Boulevard park, continue driving past Wood's Coffee and the playground on your left. We will be meeting at a picnic table in the lawn just past the playground.
