Birds of Whatcom Falls: Saturday Bird Walk Open to All

Curious about birds and the incredible species we have here in the Pacific Northwest? Join professional naturalist and experienced birder Kate Brown for a relaxed Saturday bird walk at Whatcom Falls Park. We will chat about what to look and listen for while birding, discuss some of the common species we are likely to spot in this park and what makes them unique- then meander the trails while birding and chatting. Bring any binoculars you might have (I own a few to share!). This park is frequented by Belted Kingfishers, Osprey and Diverse Songbirds and Ducks.

Where to Find Us: We will be meeting at the Whatcom Falls entrance located at 1401 Electric Avenue, directly across from Lafeen's donuts. This is the entrance used to access the tennis court and pump track. Park in the parking lot near the tennis courts, and find us at a picnic table in the field across from the courts

REGISTRATION REQUIRED: If you are interested in joining us at this walk, please CLICK HERE TO REGISTER
