Every tour is different, and while no particular species is guaranteed, we know the best spots to explore increase our chances of spotting spectacular birds, such as snow geese, bald eagles, short eared owls, tundra and trumpeter swans, and diverse winter ducks.

Deposit + Scheduling: Placing a $50 deposit here on Eventbrite will reserve our time for a tour up to three hours (9am-12pm). Once your deposit has been placed, we will reach out to confirm the exact timing you are hoping to reserve and coordinate exact meeting locations.

Car Birding: For car birding tours, we will meet at a set location down in Skagit County, then load into my subaru to drive around the agricultural lands where flocks of tens of thousands of snow geese, swans and ducks gather during the winter. We will pull over at at a few birding hotspots along our journey to briefly stretch our legs.

Walking Tours: For walking tours, we will meet at a spectacular birding hotspot, then walk the trail together to look and listen for birds. Walking tours happen in areas where there are diverse ranges of wetland spaces, waterfowl, songbirds and raptors- so our meeting spots change according to the season and where the best birds are at the time.
